Delete a Shop Direct Listing

This tutorial explains how to delete a Shop Direct listing by using the Listings Items API or a JSON listings feed. You can't use a Google product data feed to delete a listing.

Shop Direct is available in the US store (ATVPDKIKX0DER) only. For an overview of how Shop Direct works, refer to What is Shop Direct?

Prerequisites

To complete this tutorial, you need:

• A public or private application that's been approved for the Shop Direct role.
• A Shop Direct merchant who has signed up for Shop Direct in the Shop Direct merchant workspace.
• (Solution providers only) Authorization from the Shop Direct merchant to manage their Shop Direct listings. For details, refer to Get Authorization to Manage a Shop Direct Merchant's Shop Direct Listings.
• An existing Shop Direct listing that you want to delete.

Option 1: Delete the listing using the Listings Items API

Call the deleteListingsItem operation for the listing that you want to remove. The delete process is the same as the process for standard listings. For details, refer to Delete a listing.

Option 2: Delete the listing using a JSON listings feed

As an alternative to the Listings Items API, you can submit a JSON listings feed with a DELETE operation type to remove the listing. For details on submitting a JSON listings feed, refer to Submit a feed.
