Learn how to get all Amazon Business orders.

Prerequisites

To complete this tutorial, you need:

To access Personally Identifiable Information (PII), you must have approval for the following roles:

You do not need a Restricted Data Token to access PII with the Orders API v2026-01-01.

Get all Amazon Business orders

Call the searchOrders operation and use the includedData parameter to specify the information you want the response to include. A successful response includes an orders array. An order is an Amazon Business order if the programs response attribute includes AMAZON_BUSINESS.

Get all Amazon Business orders with delivery preferences

Call the searchOrders operation and use the includedData parameter with the RECIPIENT value.

A successful response includes an orders array. Delivery preferences are exclusive to Amazon Business orders, identifiable by the AMAZON_BUSINESS value in the programs response attribute. The delivery preferences for an Amazon Business order can be accessed through the recipient.deliveryPreference response attribute.

If the buyer did not specify delivery preferences for the address, the recipient.deliveryPreference response attribute returns the default business hours for the region.

Get all Amazon Business orders with pallet delivery requirements

Call the searchOrders operation and use the includedData parameter with the FULFILLMENT value.

A successful response includes an orders array. For each order item, check orderItems[].fulfillment.shipping.shippingConstraints.palletDelivery for the value MANDATORY. A value of MANDATORY means the buyer selected pallet delivery at checkout for that item.

When pallet delivery does not apply to the item, the palletDelivery field is empty or omitted from the response.

Pallet delivery is a merchant-fulfilled (MFN) shipping option available on Amazon Business orders. Pallet delivery orders are identifiable by both the AMAZON_BUSINESS value in the programs response attribute and the MANDATORY value in the palletDelivery field.

📘

Note

The palletDelivery shipping constraint is distinct from the PALLET_ENABLED or PALLET_DISABLED values in recipient.deliveryPreference.deliveryCapabilities (returned with includedData=RECIPIENT). The delivery capabilities field reflects whether the buyer's address can receive pallets in general and is not tied to a specific order. Use the palletDelivery field to determine whether the buyer selected pallet delivery for that order.

If you do not surface the pallet delivery requirement in your order management interface, sellers may ship these orders as standard parcels, which can cause delivery failures. Display the pallet delivery requirement so sellers can route these orders to their freight or LTL fulfillment process.

Identify pallet orders in Order Reports

The following order reports include a PalletDelivery field at the item level:

  • GET_FLAT_FILE_ORDER_REPORT_DATA_SHIPPING
  • GET_ORDER_REPORT_DATA_SHIPPING
  • GET_FLAT_FILE_ACTIONABLE_ORDER_DATA_SHIPPING

Parse the report output and check the PalletDelivery column (flat file) or <PalletDelivery> element (XML) for the value MANDATORY. A value of MANDATORY means the buyer selected pallet delivery at checkout for that item.

Surface the pallet delivery requirement in your order management interface so sellers can identify these orders and route them to their freight or LTL fulfillment process.

📘

Note

Sellers must enable the PalletDelivery field in Order Reports through Seller Central before it appears in report output. Refer to the pallet delivery help page for setup instructions.
