USPS Ground Advantage is now available for Amazon Buy Shipping

USPS Ground Advantage for Amazon Buy Shipping is now available in the Merchant Fulfillment API v0 and the Shipping API v2. Existing USPS First Class ship methods will be removed from Amazon Buy Shipping by October 31st, 2023.

The USPS Ground Advantage service consolidates the First-Class Package, Parcel Select Ground, and Parcel Select Ground Cubic into the following shipping methods:

• USPS Ground Advantage Light: For packages that weigh less than 1lb
• USPS Ground Advantage Heavy: For packages that weigh 1lb to 70lbs
• USPS Ground Advantage Cubic: Cubic prices based on package size and distance rather than weight

USPS has adjusted its shipping service prices with the USPS Ground Advantage launch. These new prices are reflected in Amazon Buy Shipping. Selling Partner’s existing shipping templates have been automatically updated to the equivalent USPS Ground Advantage shipping method.

Who is affected?

Selling Partners, integrators, and developers who utilize a third-party order management tool or their own software are affected by this change.
